ACLS6
Effective from 1 June 2025
Fellows and registrars will be required to complete an RNZCGP-endorsed resuscitation course with the following criteria:
Minimum contact time: 6 hours
Assessment: Completion of an assessment is mandatory

This means CORE Skills and refreshers that are not assessed, and less than 6 hours contact time will no longer meet RNZCGP resuscitation criteria.
The ACLS6 Course is now one of the accepted courses for the RNZGP

This course will consist of pre-reading and an online exam before the course and a practical skills assessment on the day of the course.
